Organization and Administration Resources Requesting Repository Resources
|
Sample and Data Distribution Application Approval Required Before specimens are released, applicants must prepare an application. Click here for a detailed description of the Application Process. Click here to learn now how applications are reviewed.
Letter of Understanding Once an application has been approved, investigators must sign a Letter of Agreement with the SWAN Repository Organization (SRO). This agreement asserts that the applicant will provide their results to the SRO for inclusion in the parent SWAN data set after a three-year embargo. This agreement indicates that the samples will be used only for the purpose specified, submit progress reports on the investigation using Repository material, and allow the SRO to participate in any patent or property discussions. The investigator also agrees to not contact the SWAN participants who provided the sample, as Repository resources are limited to biological material. Click here for the Letter of Understanding.
Application reviews occur three times a year in April, August and November. Samples and corresponding data are released once a year.
