Sample Inventory Graphs

Extracted DNA Graph This graph shows the number of extracted DNA samples currently in the repository inventory.  DNA has been extracted from one aliquot (per woman) of the immortalized cells using the Puregene™ system.  There was an average DNA yield of 217.0 g/mL and a A260/A280 average ratio of 1.86.  This graph also includes the count of DNA samples that have been aliquoted into 20ng/1 ml units (diluted samples).  Click anywhere on the graph to access this data in table format.
Urine Graph This graph represents all Annual Visit urine samples currently available in the Repository, which were collected from the baseline through year 7 follow-up of SWAN. Click anywhere on the graph to access this data in table format.
Serum Graph   This graph represents all Annual Visit serum samples currently available in the Repository, and collected from the baseline through year 7 follow-up of SWAN. Click anywhere on the graph to access this data in table format.
Plasma Graph This graph shows all Annual Visit plasma samples currently available in the Repository, which were collected from baseline through year 7 follow-up of SWAN.  Click anywhere on the graph to access this data in table format.
DHS Graph This graph represents all Daily Hormone Study samples currently available in the repository, including serum and urine samples.  Because some of these urine samples have been thawed prior to submission into the Repository, they have been put into a separately-labeled category “Thaw/Refreeze” indicating that they undergone at least one thaw/refreeze cycle.  The other urine category represents pristine samples. Click anywhere on the graph to access this data in table format.
DHS Aliquot Graph This graph represents Daily Hormone Study urine samples that have been aliquoted.  DHS urine samples are collected in volumes of 5 ml vials.  As of 6.1.04, all year 01 DHS urine samples have been aliquoted from the 5 ml vial to multiple 0.5 ml vials (up to 10 for each participant for each day of the cycle being studied).  Presently, the Repository is also aliquoting DHS urine samples collected in subsequent years, provided the participant has contributed DHS urine samples for at least four consecutive years.  Click anywhere on the graph to access this data in table format.
Summary Graph This graph represents a count of all samples types collected during an Annual Visit.  Included are all serum, plasma and urine samples from the baseline through the year 07 follow-up.  Click anywhere on the graph to access this data in table format.
DHS Urine Graph This graph describes the average number of DHS urine samples each participant has contributed by visit year. Click anywhere on the graph to access this data in table format.
DHS Serum Graph   This graph describes the average number of DHS serum samples each participant has contributed by visit year. Click anywhere on the graph to access this data in table format.
Annual Visit Graph   This graph describes the average number of annual visit samples (urine, serum and plasma) each participant has contributed by visit year. Click anywhere on the graph to access this data in table format.
